A celebration of Irish culture and all things green unfolds Saturday afternoon and evening with traditional music, hearty foods and celebration. This year, Downtown Wichita Falls Development is thrilled to present headliner Blue October! The platinum, chart-topping alternative rock band best known for "Into the Ocean" and "Hate Me" will be performing songs from their newest album, Sway, along with old favorites. Taking the stage before Blue October will be Cody Canada & The Departed. You can look forward to hearing songs from their first album, Adventus, along with favorites from Cody Canada's days as part of Cross Canadian Ragweed. Opening will be Irish folksinger Martin Byrnes. Martin has received international critical acclaim for his mixture of Irish ballads and traditional music.
This is truly an event for the whole family! Children will love the revamped children's area. There will be bounce houses, crafts, a magician and more. Look for entertainment throughout the afternoon on the brand-new children's stage!
The festivities kick off at 4:30 pm, and wind down at 10:30 pm.
